Gran Hotel De La Paix, Buenos Aires

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms, while plain and in need of some freshening up, were a good size and had a small couch area with a mini fridge and storage space. Unfortunately, there was a lingering smell of stale cigarette smoke. On the bright side, the location was central for transportation, close to the subway and main avenues. The service was a mix of friendly and helpful staff alongside some who seemed uninterested and unwelcoming. The dining experience, with European-style options, was hit or miss. Despite some drawbacks, the hotel did offer value for money in certain aspects.
